Bloody hell that looks top, nice to see there's another mk1 round our way, and also that its been given a new lease of life, My dads old wheels will look top on this. :)

And if I decide I don't like the shade of blue it will be painted again

I've got till next year before I can learn to drive so there is no rush. :-)

Should go back to peppermint. Peppermint is an awesome colour.

The red you see underneath will be red oxide i expect? although looks a little glossy.

Fair play i guess, and i agree that if your not happy you gotta sort it... but this will be its 3rd respray
