had a mad dream last night that my car was caught up in a flash flood and i came back to the house and it had been cut in half..

Mine (rolled 2 and a half times and span 180 degrees)

2ndf pic shows the wing where I hit that post after rolling it twice already (at 60mph)

I like it, it's quite interesting to see how easy they can actually crumple.

Saying that, you don't really know what happened on the scene but some of these polo's literally look like they've been through the crusher.

Tbf I don't usually be a spoilsport but some of these pics are a bit too close to home :/. No ones fault particulary but just wasn't expecting there to be as bad crashes as there is

Maybe, cant expect pictures of crashed cars to be banned from the internet though....

As i said before, stuff like this is shown on the news when there are bad crashes on the motorway etc etc.

Not offended, just got a thing about the Internet spreading pics like this. It's always gonna be out there, doesn't mean we need to help spread it about. Someone posted a graphic video of a child getting run over by a van on Facebook the other week, the aim being to show people walked or drove past and saying it's horrible and inhuman. To me hundreds of thousands of likes and shares is inhuman too. It doesn't bring the girl back, and nobody needs to see it.

Fine I know by comparison that this stuff on here isn't graphic like that, but it's a bit eerie when you think about it.

Like I say, not offended, just not keen to let threads like this become acceptable as there's a grim reality to the images we're basically rubbernecking at here.

tbh, maybe if people saw the destruction that can happen in a car accident, it might motivate them to try and drive better. Seing an image of a mashed up polo, where someone has more than likely been seriously injured or worse, might just make that hot headed new driver, showing off to their friends think twice before trying that overtake, or the older driver who thinks they are skilled enough to drive at 70 mph when road conditions are far from suitable for such speeds. (not tht I'm suggesting that any of the drivers that were at the wheel of those polos were at fault, they may or may not have been)

I personally don't think the pics were 'poor taste', shocking yes, but I think they would have been bad taste had there been blood and guts visible, which unless I need a trip to spec-savers, there was not.
