I have a COMPLETE 1.6 AVY engine from a '02 gti, covered 72k miles.

I was going to use it but now am changing direction, so am going to be breaking the engine.

I have available:

- Complete engine

- ecu

- complete wiring loom

- gearbox

- pedal set (not sure if working condition)

- air con unit

- gear selector box

Now, if someone wants the lot right away, you can have it for £600.

If not, I'm going to break it to pieces.

So. Tell me who wants what! I'll give you prices!

This engine is the one used for 1.6 AFH/AVY hybrids

Did you hear the engine running before your brought it? Doesn't have any knocks or anything does it ?

Didn't run it but I know was from a working car (apart from it being rear ended hence the breaking). It all appears to be in good nick. Feel free to come down and take a look for yourself. If you want I can break it take photos of the block, head and pistons etc.

I want to buy this so much. When do you need it gone by? I just need to save some money. Also has it been stored well, dry etc

I don't need it gone any time soon, but obviously would like it to go for money and space reasons. I recently bought myself a 1.8t so I'm out of cash.

To answer your question yes it is in dry storage. I have it inside my parents shed, it has been stripped of all manifolds as the pictures show, all holes have been plugged with rags and the whole thing is covered in thick plastic sheet to make sure nothing will get to it.

Let me know man. If you want, you could pay a deposit of £100 and I'll take it off ebay.
