95% of inside is parts, other 4% is bugs and 1% vans

Its a complete waste of money unless you want to buy a bug to build from scratch in parts

Thats my opinion anyway, carpark is more interesting but this year i dont even have petrol money to get there so wont be going

I am helping build a bug pretty much from scratch at the moment (My Moms), and we have a van, so parts are what i like. Just saying, but, I found my Hella steering wheel at Dubfreeze last year.

Said Bug (its more built now, and the back is high as theres no engine):

You'd need a bit more than a MK1 Jetta to get this. Its had rather alot spent. It cost over £3k originally and we had a new engine and the front lowered and a few other bits. Then it had a small engine fire last summer. Insurance paid out to repair the engine and paint the back end, but that snowballed into a complete rebuild from bare shell. Plus she already has a MK1 Golf GTI to cover the watercooled side of things.

Sam, you cant have it, but you can see it when its finished as i'm sure it will be making its way to a Worcester meet. Still loads to do though.

I can bet not many peoples moms have such an interest in cars, i'm pretty lucky, as car parts are allowed in the house.

And Dubfreeze wasnt just bugs and vans, and there was some very nice cars there. Forgot my camera though!
