Polo GTI X Reg, 87k

Featured Replies

Gauging interest in the polo, to decide whether to sell or just attempt to source a decent box! The car is a 5dr 2000 AVY engine . She has MOT until August, tax is due end of the month, but I'll be putting 6 months on. Still driving it everyday, it's just making some nice noises.

Took the box out a few weeks ago and cracked it open with the intention of just changing the differential bearings ( after believing advice that that's all that would be wrong) I changed the bearings, drilled and bolted the diff, at a cost of over 140 for bearings and bolts. However the layshaft bearings are gone ( wasn't willing to change them myself ) and couldn't find anyone who would change just the layshaft bearings.

I have a brand new LUK clutch to go with the car, as I didn't fit it when refitting the box as I thought I may have it out again soon. Car is on JOM blue line coilovers, little extras all over the car, LED lights etc. standard "[1]" interior, the auto climate control. Freshly refurbed ( about a year ago ) bbs RXII, with anthracite centres. All wrapped in decent uniroyal rainsport 2s .

Car would come with spare flywheel I was going to get lightened and the original gti suspension.

Only other niggle is the rear bumper needs replacing, ( bad paint )

Looking for around £1200, or swaps WHY

Make an offer I can only say no!

Please be aware car is not as low as in the picture !

The car has had the vw pedal box recall.

Car also comes with brand new clutch cable to be fitted, and a full service kit. The clutch, service kit and clutch cable is around £200 in total let alone anything else.

Located in Bristol .
