some of you may know I'm on the adventure of lowering the car a bit more but as yet undecided!

I'm getting mixed messages from users, firstly some say it needs to go alot lower yet some are saying its low enough...

also not 100% on best way of making only a few mm's difference?

i also prefer the low and wide look but if i go much lower i will not be able to make the rear much wider because it will rub... alot. :(

what does anyone else think?

The rear is fine, no need for any more width, its wide enough as it is, bout 50mm lower on the front atleast

Yes 50mm (relating to top of tyre to arch, not in terms of spring height). Go get a ruler and come back and tell me what you think, 50mm isn't much at all.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I don't know the height available inside the arches - was just thinking the tyres look a little too bold to be able to tuck 50mm.

From the picture it doesn't look like there's much more than 25mm between tyre and arch?..

would it be an idea to get thinner walled tyres? would that make it better or worse also i agree it needs more at the from but dont know how much of the spring to cut :S

obviously the top part of the spring is more together and dont know how much to take off

Also the front is going wider because I'm putting some VW11 Brakes on and they wont fit behind the wheels so it only needs about 10mm so should i do the back!

Request a realistic photoshop off someone which will drop the front 10mm (a coil) and go from there, but I agree less chat more do...

Lop off a a coil at a time - so it's flush again.

also how will i know how much to take off

will the spring sit right on the strut etc?

Just dont wanna screw the car up for the sake of 10-20 mm drop on the front and then have to fork out to get new springs put back on?
