£138 seems like a lot of money for an AFH head.

Could have bought one from a breakers for £50.

thats fucking crazy money, i've bought full engines for less than that, shit once i paid £150 for a full conversion including loom, ecu, immob, the lot

just a thought tho, how could it be fully working if he got the car with the head off? to me that makes me think the car suffered HG failure or valve contact of some sort, the head was removed for inspection but then the car shifted on. i see no reason to remove a head from a fully working car before selling it

I've sold three AFH heads in recent months, got a fair whack for each but always under the magic three figure number. That's pretty impressive.

Got one left, can't sell it because i butchered the ports open for bike carbs and it's my only spare (cams coated and stashed away).
