Pointless thread really, but anyway. After three years of hibernation my little Polo has left its base.

It seems to have let a little water in at somepoint, as you can see.

It'll be off for an MoT tomorrow, I don't even want to think of what it will fail on.

That mould doesnt mean its been letting water in. Notice its only in the places people have touched. Its all the stuff that may have been on your hands and rubbed off on the interior thats gone mouldy. Doesnt go mouldy if its used regularly as your always touching it. Its just got a bit damp as it hasnt been opened up or used for a while.

I had a window open, the last time I checked on it there was next to nothing, 6 months down the line and I find this.

There was no real reason it got parked up to be honest, I just bought a diesel and finally ended up with my vRS.

Mine's like that, but my seats are covered in it, too - i think the fabric's actually rotting now. :(

Mine was on the drive for about 3 months and i didn't open it at all...

I ripped all the seats out and sprayed the whole interior with white vinegar and let it soften all the mold. eventually it was really easy just to wipe right off. Granted, it was smelling like a chippy for a few days, but worth it!

I actually mixed a little anti-bacterial spray into to the vinegar which worked wonders.

I forgot to mention the fumes of the mold! Yes, don't breath that stuff in!! i did it on a clear day outside with doors and boot wide open and still had to stop a few times... wear a dust mask if you can.

ipads are shit. So are iphones - why, seriously, are they popular..?

Anyway, dug out a proper camera after that waste of time, took a photo that A) took a picture you can see, and B) has the ability to upload it to a web host, but only once i'd taken the memory card out and put it into the laptop.

Seriously need to get my HTC phone camera fixed - the full HD camera is as good as i need, and i could've taken a picture and put it on here via a web host all within two minutes. And fresh out the box - without having to download an app to do it!
