HI GUYS

SO I've JUST BECOME A NEW MEMBER AND I've RECENTLY PURCHASED A MK4 VW POLO... THIS IS MY FIRST EVER PROJECT WITH A POLO SO I WANT TO MAKE IT LOOK NICE....LUCKY FOR ME I OWN MY OWN BODYSHOP AND MECHANICAL BUSINESS CALLED AUTO DESIGN INC SO I CAN DO EVERYTHING ONSITE WITH MY WORKERS

SO THIS IS THE SORRY STATE OF A CAR I've BOUGHT WE ARE IN STRIP MODE ATM

STRIPPED ALL THE INTERIOR OUT AND THE INSIDE IS PRETTY MINT SO I'm GOING TO LEAV THAT AND CONCENTRATE ON THE EXTERIOR..... NEW PARTS ORDERED FULL SERVICE KIT AND A NEW BACK BOX OLD ONE ROTTEN THE SUMP NEEDS TO COME OFF TO CLEAN IT WAS A LEAK SOMEWHERE !!! ILL KEEP UPDATING THE POST AS I PROGRESS

Good start. Thought about a new caps lock key?

Look forward to how you turn this around having access to a body shop and all. Any special plans?

@prankstar whoops about the caps lock key lol.... cars is what I do so I'm very lucky in that sense I have my own facilities well I'm thinking of doing either a lambo orange with a black merc roof with Crystal sparkles and a black bonnet I've never done a lairy colour like orange.... lucky for me my headpainter is a ATA accredited Painter and his former employer was McLaren and he knows how to paint especially Custom stuff so I know I'm in good hands ill keep you posted on developments as we come along took the sump off clean the leak resealed it do the rest of service in morning then over to the bodyshop hit the whole car with 320 all over and get it ready for paint

Comma and full stop key next lol. Only kidding mate. Look forward to seeing what you do with this pal. keep up the good work

I haven't liked any of the 6n's that have been painted orange but i will hold my tounge untill i see it. Nice to see another rotten 6n resurected! Never seen them rot under the rear lights before...

A quick update for you guys got new discs and pads and rear shoes delivered this morning the old ones are rotten also took a trip to the local breakers in peace pottage needed a few bits loads of dying polos in there we decided to take the section off where the rust is coming through under the rear light clean the area where needed and treat it with some Acid and weald the new section and seal it with body sealer. next task is to tackle that rear quarter so coming along nicely ill put some pictures up later to show our progress

hi guys just a few things I've done today on the little polo.... rear arch needs cutting out and a new one putting in to rotten so I've ordered one from my supplier get my panel beater to weald it in car has been fully 320 down there a few blimishes on rust scab on the car but only surface so its all minor all the mechanical work has been done all now on the bodywork :)

another update on the little motor :-) Rear Arch was rotten best way to cut out the old one and replace with a new one job done apart from that rear arch and the little spot under the rear light the car is really clean for the year

:) Thanks for the comments guy I'm very picky when it comes to the standard of work at my workshop I only accept 100% effort from all my guys on any type of build we do.... needs to be mint so that's the aim for this little beauty I've now come to a decision on the colour I'm doing the car in Ford Focus ST orange with a black obsidian black roof and bonnet all so the wing mirrors will be painted black with regards to the rims I do like them a lot so I'm going to prep them down paint them Mercedes obsidian black with a orange lip should look awesome when completed looking forward to seeing this car come alive

Great Work! Orange with black roof will be interesting. Could do with some punctuation though its really hard to read ha.

:-) A few updates prepared all the doors, wings, Bonnet and Rear bootlid today.... Rear quarter is coming along nicely nearly ready for some primer . Someone had attempted to do a matt black finish with a spray can looked really bad lol DA the whole bonnet of ready for the Merc Paint

really like where this is going :) thought you woulda done in the boot etc etc aswell, still looking amazing though whats the rest of the plans for it :)

yes I could have stripped the whole car out and painted everything but all those panels you see In white will be covered so you ll never see them plus I have other customers cars to do atm so time was another issue but I'm sure once the car is put back together it will show it credentials

wheels are coming off next I'm going to prep them down and repaint them merc black with orange pearl like the rest of the car and put a orange lip around the wheel to make it really pop should look awesome
