Iv got the same set up. You won't get much lower than mine on the front with out chassis work. The drive shafts smack the chassis legs all the time.

mate i'm not gonna lie i don't even feel worthy of a reply haha your car is stupidly nice and i'll get a photo of them next time i'm out working. yeah i'm expecting to have to do some work, my steering arm is very close to the brake reservoir which could be a problem but it's okay at the moment.

just been doing some daft bits but finally got this fuck ugly GT dial setup piece of shit out of my car. The silver was just a sticker (as helped out by another post thread) and it peeled off okay with a help from turps. also sprayed the housing black because i didn't like the standard green huey tinge on it, wanted it jet black to match clocks scraped this minging red paint off the clock hands just down to bare white/cream. looks miles better :-D

you should get one they're fun, and it's not the most common type of polo so you feel quite special haha. cheers mate!

so me and Mike decided it as time for......... the colour change. Originally we were gonna go hot chocolate brown, but decided that we'd go fully stealth and be matte black. Sanding started and might i add this was all done in 16mph winds on my drive.... as ghetto as it gets.

then the first side began spraying:

Lights were also tinted for the stealthy look, and fitted:

and here are the finished pictures. i drove it about all night because i felt like it so it's a bit muddy but besides that i think we did a pretty good job! :-D

new tires came yesterday so i shot em on today. pleased with the stretch haha, now just need a general re-furb on the wheels! getting them sandblasted soon enough and then re-sprayed

Also shot together some quick bonnet latches, i'm really pleased with these. £15 from eBay for actual bonnet buckles, i just chopped these of an old briefcase that i payed a pound for in a charity shop car needs a clean but i'm sure you get the jist

Seen this in adds yesterday and liked it quite a lot actually. To be honest she I seen the pigs of it painted black I thought ohhhh no but I really like it in the flesh Lee up the good work

yeah it doesnt look bad up front, still needs some tidying up. thanks man appreciate it!

fucking coilovers snapped day before yesterday and i was only turning into a road, barely moving. Absolutily livid, sent a letter to the manufacturer and they are replacing immediately but still.... thats ridiculous

yeah they're sending me another bit, and some discount for the hassle haha

just ordered some LED bolts for my rear plate, so i can finally run bumperless :-D wheels should be sprayed and on and arches done by this weekend, as long as the weather holds. STILL WAITING ON MY REPLACE COILOVER, poor thing has been sat on the drive for what feels like ages now :(

coilover arrived today, bang that on tomorrow and i'll be back on the streets...... finally

tbh he makes a fair point. the car looked pretty good before it was matte blacked and as for the rear arch modifications. unless you have welded the two skins back together, I can pretty much guarantee your car will be scrapyard fodder within a year. still it is your car to do as you please, just don't expect everyone to like it.
