well i have just been and left a deposit on a 9n this morning which i should be picking up maybe mid week as it needs an mot and it needs an abs sensor i have always had vws my 6n2 sadly died at the beginning of this week i orginaly wanted another but my parents found me this so i supose i carnt complain realy its newer and something abit diffrent i supose and seen as i looked at a couple of you guys build threds before i left a deposit as they is some realy nice ones out there so well done guys its a 1.4 16v and totaly standard so less of me talking here a couple of pictures i have from, the dealers website comments welcome it does have a rusty rear arche on drivers side but i will get the smart repair man from where i work to repair it

ano mate its a shame its not been bumped or anythink i have checked only had 2 lady owners and benfield vw full service history never mind it wont be rusty for long

thank you ano not a lover of silver but it was forsale very local and had no transport to get about am sure it wont be long bfore it changes i dont collect it till next week so not much will happen over the weekend haha give it a good valet the day i get it and start from there hopefully have coilovers for then as well where is best to get them ? and what kind is most popular that is cheap?

That's reasonable tho man, they are a nice car if they are previously treated well but that's pretty much the same as anything. The side strips on these shapes anoy me so much, they went the right way about the 6r removing them but they do save you from damaging your paint first I suppose.

Coilover wise I have Ta technix (yellow shock, red spring £200) they are alright, bumpy but that's because they are on there lowest setting on the front anyways. Would advise shortened droplinks if you go low too. You want to keep the anti roll bar so it's lovely and stiff at the front and it saves you from dropping the subframe to remove it.

Other Coilovers that are quite good value for money are Fk automotive highsports, Jom's, Ap's aslong as they are TUV approved you are okay. Ruffly would recommend getting Fk's due to there build quality, I brought Ta's as they go low low and were alot cheaper of Philj on here. They come with 2 year warranty as well.

9n wise to lower, They are a C*nt! But other than that it's all good. :)

looking good mate, coilies wise I can recommend FK Highsports pretty highly and as Liam said shortened droplinks will be needed if you're going loow. Good luck man looks a good base, starting to quite like silver ones..

yerr i am abit famous for haveing the lowest cars about my area ;like so i do have them slammed my 6n2 used to alway chuck sparks out the back on motor ways and stuff and so did my lupo i had years ago haha so i really want this just as low i have been reading about and stuff on here where sells the ta coilovers i have a brand new set here never ever fitted to a car they are for a 6n2 i wonder if i send they back they might replace them for a little extra cash ? can only try i supose but thats for commenting guys

well my insurance is now swapped over and its 10 a month cheaper wooooop lol so i should be going to pic it up tomorrow fingers crossed if its ready and they company i got the coilovers for my 6n2 are swapping them a;ll i have to pay is the postage which is £40 which isnt to bad and they are sorting out collection its all coming along nicely now all i need is to get my mind set on some wheels didnt think it would be so hard lol anyone got any sujestions ?

well i have now got my 9n and i love itso much carnt wait to start modding it now really want my coilovers to turn up haha i will give it a good clean at work tomorrow and get some pics as i do it if i get chance bought 2 brand new snap on seat covers from the snap on van today at work they will be getting put on just need a set of genuine loor mats now

hahaha to be honest i have offerd a set of bora or golf sport wheels and i have been shown these wheels and what they could look like on my car when its slammed and i like it to be honest maybe collecting today just waiting for my coilovers and drop links to turn up now then i will update with more pics seen as i havnt really had time due to working late and stuff but it does have a 5 foot cb aerial on the roof now with a tti tcb 550 cb radio
