What would you want

Featured Replies

Basically my brother owns a company called bolts bolts.

I have tried speaking to a moderator more then once to get the company officially on club polo but just waiting on a response at the moment.

The company has been running for a while with all sales due to the website and car forums. Being a more Honda based company at the moment he wants to widen his parts to include Volkswagen, he already sells products suitable for vw such as various bolts! USDM conversions (where your indicators stay on) and many more.

we also do all kinds of tuck kits for fuel etc.. Pas delete kits. We are about to become the UKs first and only supplier of gripROYAL... As of this week we are a supplier of HEL brake braided lines and can make up custom clutch lines for tucking etc alsoJust had custom fittings made for starlet turbo pas deletes

Seeing as everyone on this forum are car enthusiasts all mainly being vw I had a couple of questions...

1. Would you like this website available on club polo.

2. What products do you recommend bolts bolts to have ready if we manage to get on to the site

3. What do you want/need easily available to you

4. Any other feedback you may have

Any feedback would be a massive help!

Tanks for your time!

(Mods if this is out of policy just let me know)

why not put a link up to the existing site, so we can see what you guys actually offer, as currently all we really know if the company is called bolts bolts, it sells bolts and light kits.

not massively helpful.

packages of bolts, taken from data from vagcat, so you can provide either stainless or zintec bolts for non-safety critical components, and then new hi-tensile 10.9 bolts (again zintec) for running gear etc.

just had a quick look at your site, and it all looks like hipster bolts, spikes and what not. I would be wary about using stuff like that, as the quality is normally quite poor, however I can imagine alot of yoofs in the VW market being interested in stuff like that!

Grungeisdead: I wanted to put a link to the website up but thought the mods would delete the thread straight away as it could be seen as advertisement.

All critical bolts sold on the website are hi-tensile 10.9 bolts

As for the show bolts they are used for non critical comments to the car, they are anodised aluminium and are top spec when it comes to manufacture. Every product bolts bolts sell are either manufactured in the U.S.A or U.K.

Thank you for your reply!

So am I right to believe your input is:

Grungeisdead: use vagcat to produce packs of bolts for critical components on all vw models?

I'm not that fussed about shinny bolts, normally just buy new ones from vw or local bolt place if i have rounded or broke them.

My brother on the other hand wants shiny bolts for his slam panel and wings for when he pops the bonnet.

What about 6n to 6n2 rear light connectors, i know its easy to chop the 2 wires, join them and shave the lug off the drivers side but some people haven't got a clue and would rather buy a kit that's plug and play.

Shoulder bolts for fitting Vauxhall calipers would be a winner.

Not sure if it's within his capabilities, but I'd love a good supplier of brake shoe ("Girling") pins and clips.

Other than that, just bulk lots of common sizes on the car.

Not sure who you've spoken to so far, but I'll post this in the staff area and get someone to get back to you with a price for the various options.

x2 I want to replace all of the horrible rusty bolts.

Well we have both and will hopefully have kits built for vw soon!

For the all red rears? Yes that would be something I also believe would benifit a lot of users to! Will make sure that's looked into
