They dont look half bad TBH.

I've changed worse.

The linings do look OK but the adjuster looks to almost be at the limit of it's adjustment

you have'nt got 200mm drums and 180mm shoes ???

Hmmmm you my be right, I've never had them off since I've owned the car, but i ordered new shoes drums and bearings which should come into the shop tomorrow, ill fit them and let you know how i get on, thanks alot guys

Right so finally got it through its mot, couldnt get the new drum over the new shoes on drivers side so ended up putting the old shoes back on and luckily it was enough, but now they're bindin like fuck! (wich is probably why the pedal is now tight as owt haha) to the point i dont even need to put the brakes on when sat on hills. What the hell is going on guys!!!

Take it the adjuster is all the way up?

If the cylinders are fully compressed and the adjuster up there should have been no issue. even with new drums.

Just been out and set the wedge right up and they were still binding, i think the bearing races arnt set in right and making the drum sit funny, put the old drum back on and the brakes arnt that bad at all so just gunna use old drum and shoes for now till ice sorted the new drum out, been 6 months since I've had the car on the road so just want to get back out there haha! Cheers for everything though!!!!!
