Right guys as you all know I was going to do a vr6 project on my previous build thread, I now know it intails too much work so I'm going to be doing a 1.4 16v conversion insted and had my other thread deleted.

So from the top, here are some pics of her as I got her and what I have done up until now, bearing in mind I haven't had much cash lately

Bump strips & badges taken off

Small 900w sub until I do a boot build and some 200w kenwood shelf speakers also in doors

Debadged grill

Hella rear smoked led lights (love these)

lol had to buy this

Got some new seats (thanks to a good friend) as I hated these grey ones also newish carpet and all doorcards and rear cards

Why don't you just buy one and run it instead of putting it into the exact same shell as what it coming from? £600 - £700 for a donor car minimum.

I've got a 300bhp 5 cylinder fiat 20v turbo motor that could be slotted in £1200 if your interested should move a lot quicker than that 1.4 16v your thinking about.

Okay your probably still looking at the same price range. Are the 6n2's DOHC?

If you're putting the 6n2 Dash in with the engine it's easy. Well, easier than just the dash.

But you'll need a donor car, and tbf, it would be cheaper to just buy the car..

that is my plan to buy a doner car swap everything over in both cars then sell the 6n2 cheap just to get some money back off of it

To be fair i dont really like the front end on it want to get the 16v bumpers for it

This has been done before incase you were thinking you wanted to do it to be different.

It's a big job so I hope if you are going to do it you have some knowledge of motors, not trying to hate/put you down but as the others say we can't understand why you don't just drive the 6n2 and sell the 6n for money towards mods?

why not buy a 6n2 and 6n front end it? boom

Plus, finding a 100bhp 1.4 16v 6n2 is harder than you think, as most of them are 75bhp versions. You need a 6n 16v (AFH) ideally. Or get a GTI and dash like that thomas guy has with the harlequin
