Some of you may know the car, and for those who don't please see the below. I'm selling the car to fund a house deposit has to go as i just don't have the space to keep it nor the time to attend shows in it. It has spent the best part of 2yrs sat under a breathable cover in my garage and started every weekend to ensure the engine is all good.

This advert won't do the car any justice as i've done far too much to it since 2004 when i first bought it!

Happy to show you around the car, but please- only serious buyers. This car could once again steal shows with ease, just needs a capable pair of hands and some TLC...

Engine:

Rebuilt 1.6 16v GTI- new continental belt, metal impeller waterpump, new aux belt...head rebuilt with new stems and new gaskets all round.

Rebuilt GTI gearbox (painted black),

BMC CDA,

Stainless 4-2-1- downpipe to rear stainless system with hidden tailpipe (stainless welds),

Engine dressed up in black and gold plated bolts/brackets etc,

Decat pipe included, presently running a cat,

Hidden engine harness- extended and hidden through chassis, main engine harness extended and hidden. Custom chassis leg covers present (bay is ready to get smoothed if you want this)

Remapped ECU supplied (currently on standard management)-136bhp.

VR6 Corrado radiator with twin slimline pacet fans.

B&M Short Shifter installed.

Chassis:

FK Highsport Coilovers,

G60 cross drilled brakes up front with goodridge stainless hoses and black diamond predator pads,

GTI black diamond discs and predator pads on rear (grooved) and with goodridge hoses- 2 extra hoses replaced using a VR6 kit,

GTI rear beam with ARB,

New wishbones, ball joints and bearings up front.

GTI front ARB.

Newly rebuilt and powdercoated engine mounts.

CUSTOM front strut brace.

Bodywork and Lighting:

Smoothed and flared arches all round,

indicators deleted from the wings,

roof aerial deleted and smoothed,

recessed and internally lit rear boot lid- no vw badge or handle- vw beetle solenoid and button located in ashtray up front,

all swage lines smoothed,

bad boy smoothed bonnet (standard bonnet also included in sale),

bonrath modified grill up front,

MK5 polo roof gutters,

Jap spec retractable stubby mirrors,

smoothed sills,

Bumpers smoothed (no tow recess on rear, plate recess/bottom side grills and tow eye smoothed on front),

delocked and colour coded handles.

Custom FK angel eyes up front- black internals with 7000k HID's and LED's fitted all round,

Custom rear Hella LED rears- buyer will also have oppurtunity to buy spare lights i have- all red genuine vw rears and a smoked set of hella's.

LED plate lighting on rear.

LED strips in front bumper.

Chrome plated door catches with gold plated bolts all round the vehicle.

Wheels:

WRD Chevlon Mesh Wheels in 9x15 and 8x15 spacers also fitted to create extra stance,

Toyo Proxis tyres all round and rear is cambered.

Too much work gone into these: black anodised barrels, gold plated bolts, black centres, polished dishes...

Interior:

Recaro Speed SR leather seats up front on genuine recaro rails,

headlining and interior trim retrimmed in black alcantara including pillars, sunvisors and sill trims,

Bottom half of the dash has been flocked including centre tunnel,

Rear custom cage to match the Trimsport rear strut brace,

Push button start located in place of cigerette lighter,

Alternator/Battery Volt meter,

Battery located to rear,

GTI MK5 interior- black leather door cards, black carpet,

OMP harnesses,

Piano black accenting- all vent surrounds, stereo surround, centre vent all painted,

Momo Millenium Evo steering wheel/momo boss,

Momo Airmetal pedals,

Momo F16 gearknob and gaitor,

Momo Airmetal handbrake handle and gaitor.

Electric MK5 sunroof with black switching and black grab handles from a lupo GTI.

Audio:

Kenwood DVD double din unit up front with ipod unit,

Alpine Type R components in doors,

Alpine 2 channel amp powering front components (model can be confirmed via pm/email for interested buyer)

Alpine Mono amp powering a Kenwood carbon fibre shallow sub hidden under rear flooring.

All above enclosed in rear built false flooring with 0 gauge wiring throughout, flat speaker wiring throughout also.

The whole interior of the car is sound deadened! photos of this can be supplied on request.

Alarm:

Cat 1 Toad alarm with two fobs.

***I've probably forgotton to mention a whole host of stuff, the car is practically like new...new bolts/catches/clips- no expense spared!***

WITHOUT THE PRIVATE REG- I'm after £6000ono.

This price can be negotiated by removal of any add on parts, i.e. seats, wheels, cage, braces, etc...basically i can strip the car down to bare bones, you decide what you want to pay and what for...

PLEASE NO PM'S REGARDING BREAKING- I want to sell the car first as whole as possible, any parts left over will be sold seperately on here.

BUMP- as mentioned above- i'm happy to sell this car for as little as £3500ono without things like the audio, seats, cage/strut braces, wheels...basically it'll be the car with bodywork intact, mk5 interior, engine, brakes and standard reg.

Perfect for those who want to change the look of this car to make it their own
