If you wanted a GTi, then go for one. Then spend the savings on it, or down the pub

I hate that saying 'dub'... Its short for Veedub, which is slang for Volkswagen, not a style.

And welcome lurker :-)

Well Thanks, I really want one but was curious if people thought there might of been something better. But I'll go for what I want.

Sorry I should of said euro look? You knew what I meant ;)

The reason I joined so long ago and only just posted is because I joined then wasn't sure if i was going to get a polo, still haven't got one now. So yeah! but now I'm pretty sure I'll be getting one with in a few weeks! very excited.

I know what I'm getting, a mk5 golf

Well welcome :-D

But what colour, Black, red or silver? :unibrow:

And I also know what I'm getting, Mk2 Caddy :-D

Who's your insurance with and what did you fo to get it that cheap, for me in a 1.4 16v best I could get was 2000 and I'm 19 (don't that quote with 1 years noclaims as named driver)?

Ibiza cupra :)

From the amount of GTI problem posts in here I'd look into them first, seat h all around the forum and check for common problems.

Seen many threads about GTI's running like shit, changed loads and still shit. Gearboxes are like chocolate.

What about a 9n3 GT TDI 130bhp?

Pftt, the 6n2's are brilliant cars.

Only problems are temperature sensor, window switches, boxes and pedal boxes.

Other than that, you're onto a winner. Good little cars with a few mods can look really good.

But tbf, even after driving the burd's MK5 GT, I love it. Full leather, diesel economy and boost. A good winner.

Saying that, I wouldn't get a diesel, too boring.

9n3 GTi?

I like Polo GTIs.

Even though I am breaking one at the moment
