Looking for an engine for the polo as this one has probably shat itself, oil everywhere and refusing to even turn over..

How much would you want for it mate? Would I have to take it out myself?

Well offer buddy, I'm not sure on price, It had a Service full water pump,cambelt the lot start december, 2 hours later i crashed the car its in, So its all good, 114k on the clock. Runs right, I'll help you, The car is gonna be on axle stands.

Have you got any pics mate? Are you intending on scrapping the car?

If your still looking by then I'll be pulling out my 1.3SPI in around a months time. At the moment it's just clocked over 80K but is my daily so will go up a little.

Brilliant engine, pulls really well, no out of places noises. When I had the standard exhaust on it, it was so quiet. Be a shame to take it out really but I have a freshly (nearly) rebuilt GT to go in.

Only thing it won't come with is the manifold as I have an Ashley 4-2-1 on there at the moment which will be going on the GT lump and I chucked the old mani away.

I'm pretty far from you, but I can't see me getting rid of the engine otherwise as they're not exactly sort after. So if you can get down here you can have the lot for £50 once I've removed it.
