fucking people in fucking carparks

Featured Replies

The other day, in sainsburys car park, I managed to find a space quite close so got it it. My Saab is scratched to buggery so don't really care about it too much.

Then this idiot in a jag the length of a bus, parks next to us leaving about half a foot between the cars at best. My missus is sat in the passenger seat looking at me as if to say 'How the fuck do I get out now'. No idea how the driver of the Jag whould have got out either. I go to tap on his window and ask him politely to move as he hasn't left enough room. 'Oh it's just a hard space to get into.' he says. 'Well find a bigger space.' I say. As I walk back along the length of the car, he pops it into reverse and damn near runs me over.

At this point I just thought fuck it as I saw his fat fucking wife get out of the car and realised he needed two spaces on that side to let her out. Also he had two pampered looking dogs sat in the back of his aqua marine coloured jag.

Massive idiot!!!!

When I came back to the space I made sure I had trouble opening the rear passenger door towards his car. Oh yeah, I forgot that I had no reason to open the door.

As a parent with a small child getting them in and out, I park where it's easy to get them in and out. It's not hard. There are parent and child spaces and if you park sensibly, it's not an issue.

What winds me up more than anything is when I park nicely within the lines, come back and find a Land Cruiser, X5 or some other mumwagon sat right next to mine, at a hideous angle in the space so I can't actually turn the wheel until the front of the car is clear from the car. It's okay in the Polo sometimes but less so in the Saab.

Yeah, people that can't park or don't know the size of their car annoys the shit out of me, too.

Yes, I work in McDonalds, but the amount of people that won't bunch up a little closer to pay gets on my tits. I've usually got to go and get food made (because I can do everything), so when they won't move up in the 6 ft gap they leave, it annoys me. And it's not like they're scared, it's the pretentious trophy wifes of Milngavie that don't know how big their fucking brand new Range Rover is.

Ahhhh, annoys me so much.

Parked in uni yesterday with enough space for a car next to me and saw 4 cars with females driving that looked at it, and then moved on. WHAT THE FUCK.

Cannot stand it.

This was all my first car was good for.

That's brilliant

Lance: Still got your Malibu?

Vincent: Aw, man. You know what some fucker did the other day?

Lance: What?

Vincent: Fucking keyed it.

Lance: Oh, man, that's fucked up.

Vincent: Tell me about it. I had it in storage for three years, it was out five days and some dickless piece of shit fucked with it.

Lance: They should be fucking killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution.

Vincent: Boy, I wish I could've caught him doing it. I'd have given anything to catch that asshole doing it. It'd been worth him doing it just so I could've caught him doing it.

Lance: What a fucker!

Vincent: What's more chicken shit than fucking with a man's automobile? I mean, don't fuck with another man's vehicle.

Lance: You don't do it.

Vincent: It's just against the rules.

I park in those spaces. I like to get it so my car is almost touching. Means they're more likely to park properly next time.

Theoretically i'm likely to get dented but it's never happened yet.

Luckily i have only ever had one car park ding on my car, so far anyway.

But I don't think the little boy racer (litterally looked 12) in his brand new Fiesta mummy and daddy bought liked it when he came back to a car with wing mirrors with a note saying "nice person" and "Bag" then wrapped over in clingfilm.....yes clingfilm, i had just been shopping haha, best use i have found for the stuff if i am honest  .

But in all fairness around my area everyone seems to be okay with not hitting other cars, don't tend to see someone actually doing it very often, and if it does its usually it's an accident, strong wind, tripping, that kind of shit.

It's pretty frustrating, If I don't park 100% straight if I pull into a spot, I will correct it, I can't just leave my car looking like it's been abandoned.

French Car owners... :retard:

I don't actually see how you can do it though. There should be a size awareness part in the test.

My girlfriend still doesn't really know the length of her Golf and I can get it within an inch and I drive it every 7 days.

Yep me too.

The one bonus of having cars with scratched paintwork is that I don't give a fuck.

I love parking right next to idiots like that. Leaves you loads of room on the drivers side to get out too.

it has actually been proven that men have MUCH MUCH better spatial awareness than women.

and i have to say i've not seen any evidence to suggest otherwise

^^ Yep - you only have to look at the forklift truck industry to know that, clean fact is that women really aren't great in car parks, and that's precisely the problem we have.

got back to my car a few days ago after work and my wing mirror had been dismembered from the door it once sat so happily and was kindly placed upon my bonnet now i know who did it what would be the correct course of action that doe not require a jumper leads and nipples.

The same treatment?

An eye for an eye and all that...?

I used to have an old smiley transit, as they go, it wasnt pretty, it had served its purpose. I was doing a job with it one day and took my 2 lachies for their lunch at Ronnie McD's place, some ignorant mare in a school run jeep pulled up next to me and she and her little shites added a few more dents to my van, its amazing the damage a cataloy filled transit door can do when its kicked open from the inside.

I think we now need a parking hall of shame thread.

Had one last night, but didn't get a chance to take a pic.

Should've parked in the space next to it Will :-p Found a Discovery parked like this in Mcdonalds, I parked in the only space left.

Women (especially with kids) are worst for hitting other cars as the vast majority just do not give a shit about other peoples cars.

Wether it be an immaculate classic,a brand new sports car or anything in between, they will still crash their doors into it.

It's nothing to do with having an old car or jealousy or anything like that, but pure ignorance and the desire to open the doors as wide as possible to aid the unloading of their brats.

Older cars where from a time where the majority of people took care not to damage peoples cars but modern cars have to be reinforced to cope with the daily battering that goes on in car parks of today.

Some women, okay the majority of women are the worst...however not all ;) I have the greatest respect for other people's cars and possessions...I also have a toddler :-p

And it seriously pisses me off when other people have total disregard towards other people's cars.

I just bought a 2000 VW polo last night and it's immaculate in its condition but I'm just waiting for the morons who can't park/drive to change all that! :?

That Beemer sums up the mentality of most?? beemer drivers, "I own the road and I'll park where I like"

Bad parking pictures thread?

Aye I've seen po-po at it too...

Brand new Mercedes with plastic wheel trims. What's worse; that or a BMW 118d without a badge delete option?

If I hadn't of been waiting on someone I would have been tempted to sit in the middle of the road indicating to go down that small road...

Don't know if this counts or not, I mean they weren't centred in the space but the spaces here are fucking enormous, it's ridiculous.

I'm sure that Golf had just been sprayed and he didn't want it scratched. I read that somewhere, I'm sure.

And WHY HASN'T HE PARKED ACROSS TWO?! I love them. The fox clearly doesn't know what it's worth.

Recently had my rear bumper completely resprayed after someone run in the back of me, then found the bumper strip to have a mark on and fractured the paint so I assume someone nudged it on a car park. Even worse when you've just payed to have it resprayed too

Unpainted bumpers FTW

So I go to work the other day (work in Asda) and I have parked within the lines next to a parking spot which is next to a trolley bay. I have left the correct amount of space for someone with brains to reverse in and get out.... Some pillock drives straight in over my lines and giving themselves enough room to get out of the trolly bay side. I come out of work at 4 the parked car is so close to my side I have to try and get in the passenger side. Wouldn't be a problem.... But my only lock is on the drivers side and I couldn't get into it. 45mins later she arrives. Fuming.

Another note. What is it with women using other people's car roofs as handbag and key rests while they put the kids in the car.
