That is tempting actually. I wasn't particularly convinced by what she said. To give you an idea, I also enquired about future modifications to find out what cover I could have. I said I wanted to put on lighter poly windows, and she replied "window tint isn't a problem". I explained that I meant they are lighter in weight not shade and was put on hold whilst she spoke to her manager. Makes me wonder how she worded it to him/her....

I added my mk1 front bumper to my mk2 today (with admiral) and the woman on the phone didn't even recognise it. I told her it wasn't an optional extra and was off of an older model polo and her words were "oh it's from the same manufacturer then? nah that's fine I don't need to add that".

Very odd.

Get that in writing. It seems she doesn't know what she is talking about which I find worrying.

Next time around, try a modification friendly insurer.

Cheers Ollie. I phoned them up again and this time had a bloke who was a bit more with it. He allowed me to have it covered but agreed not to increase the cost in error.

Also phoned you guys at sky regarding an engine swap in the future and was very happy with the rough quote you gave me, will definitely consider renewing with you in the next couple of months
