Honda S2000

Featured Replies

Here we have for sale my 2001 Monte Carlo blue Honda S2000. Owned this car for just over a year now and it's been great. Reason for sale is that I want my MK1 back on the road and to do this I don't need both cars so one must go, and it's not gunna be the Golf!

Contact number is 07929671664

Location: South Wales

Basic spec of the car:

2001 Pre-facelift

Honda S2000

Monte Carlo Blue ( Not many of these around in this colour)

94,000 miles.

FHSH

Every tax disc from new.

Every service stamp from Honda.

Every receipt from new.

Stacks of paperwork present.

HPI clear.

Currently Sorn as it's literally sitting on the drive not getting driven, but if the asking price is met 12 months MOT and 6 months tax will be put on the car for you.

A more detailed spec of what's been replaced/upgraded.

Bremtech drilled and grooved discs with Brembo pads all around nearly new.

Brand new front and rear calipers as there very prone to seizing. Painted black.

Racing blue dot 3 fluid.

Castrol 75w90 diff oil.

Castrol 75w90 gearbox oil.

Castrol 5w30 engine oil.

Hamp oil filter.

K&N cone filter in standard airbox.

NGK Iridium spark plugs.

2006 suspension struts fitted. (Better than pre facelift models)

Upgraded sidelights.

Alpine head unit with hidden iPod connection.

Colour coded rear bumper.

Skeleton Honda badges have been fitted worth £40.

50k mile clutch and flywheel have been fitted to be safe as the original was slowly wearing out.

Brand new clutch slave cylinder and fluid replaced.

The interior is in fantastic condition, both roof carches replaced with brand new items, seats are great black leather with no bolster wear, rips or tears.

Bad points about the car:

Rear right ABS sensor faulty. I say faulty, I snapped it when fitting the upgraded suspension because I'm an oaf. I will replace this free of charge if close to the asking price is met.

Wheels require a refurb as there a bit tatty and missing centre caps. If your going to replace the wheels anyway its no big deal however if the asking price is met I can refurb them free of charge if you plan to keep them. All Tyres are legal with 5mm left on the front and 4mm on the rears. I think there continental???

Common small rust patch on the drivers side rear quarter. This is a £150 fix and has been taken into consideration in the asking price. Originally this car was going to up for £5295 but that now is as below. Please do not try and use this against me if bartering as it won't work as if already factored it into the price.

Common tiny tear in the bottom of the roof where it meets the car but is 100% watertight and does not leak atall.

In the last picture the bonnet is on latch, this isn't me being lazy it's because the bonnet cable snapped today, I will replace this with a brand new item for the sale. Just being as honest as possible.

The car has zero dents as I had all 6 of them professionally removed prior to this sale. The car is 11 years old so a few tiny tiny marks here and there but nothing to write home about and ill be polishing the car properly for the buyer before he/she collects.

I've priced this car to sell and would like it gone in the next few weeks. It's a great base to work from for someone if there looking to build a very well speced up S2000.

Any questions do not hesitate to ask.

Price is £5195.
