hey I'm looking for a K03s turbo please guys not bother if the bearings are fubarred as il rebuild anyway

as long as the turbine wheels are good then I'm interested

or if the turbines are fubarred I'm still interested but wont pay much as its expensive to replace them but il take it off your hands and get it out your way

I have this K03, I'm not sure exactly what model it is but it is definitely a K03 of some sort. Bearings need replacing but the fins are OK. I'm after £45 which is what I paid for it :) Let me know if this is suitable for you.

ideally I'm llooking for the K03s the difference being it has a silencer on the compressor outlet and they are rated to a higher power and slightly better flow i believe as they came on the 180 bhp 1.8t engines where as the standard K03 came on the 150 bhp 1.8t engines

i may be interested though as it may work with what I'm planning any more pics of it like the core and the exhaust side so i can check

I'll get you some pics of the exhaust side as I don't have any to hand. I free'd off all the housing retaining bolts on both inlet and exhaust so it can be clocked to whatever position/rebuilt without any hassle.

ok mate il see whether it will make any difference to what I'm doing probably not but would have been nice to have both looking equal if you know what i mean

il see what the differences are specwise as visually its literally the silencer on the compressor side

why on earth would you want a silencer? :p

its more for the fact they are rated for more power Eric and the silencer is on the compressor side doesnt really do much i think

I've got a k03 pete with a snapped shaft but the bearings are good so you should be able to make one from two. send me a pm if interested

what does the riveted plate say?

is it KO3-052, 053 or 058 For k03s

The K03 has 12 blades, the K03S has 8 but deeper pitched.
