I'm looking for a mk2 Golf RallyE Gearbox

obviously good working condition

let me know if you or anyone you know has one

I'm sure they are all cable change and thats what i want

you can convert the 020 boxes to cable- the cae website shows how they do it for their shift towers - might be easier than getting a rallye box as there stupid money

Think my mates got a rallye box but not sure if hes up for selling it. Ill ask anyway if not i can get you a shift tower? Drop me a pm or text mate

I did look into changing to cable Kiz but on the golf forums everyone was saying its not possible to swap the 020 boxes to cable

Anychance of a link so I can see and I am going to make an alloy custom shift tower like the CAE ones I have all the tech drawings

But a cable shift tower would still be nice to check against

And the main reason for wanting the RallyE box is the syncro box is only rated to max of 220 bhp

Whereas the rallye is over 300

Ahh thought you meant the shift tower thats fitted to the gearbox? or are you? Confused...

Ill ask him anyway mate and see... what about a quattro tt box of a 1.8t? Same bellhousing bolt up i believe.. (02A) but its a 6 speed?

The Audi TT Quattro box I've found is 02M would that be sae bolt pattern as 020

those shifters are a piece of piss to make! you should see what I'm building for my shifter!!! makes them cae shifters look basic

got an audi tt quatro 02m box today and its not the same bolting as the 020 or 02A boxes :( more modification needed it looks like

still looking for a rallye box too

you could have got the 3.2 VR6 engine Audi box then Pete if its not 020/A that will be strong enough lol

I did look for one of those boxes but couldn't find any

They would be better as they also canter the engine forwards not backwards been researching into this loads now

yer there the same pattern as the CCM vr6 box, VR6 syncro box would also centre the engine forwards aswell- but they really are the rarest of the rare.

I looked into it all when i thought about cable change and hydro clutch- weighs a lot though the VR6 box
