Description:

Up for sale I have my 1991 VW polo mk3 coupe, its for sale due to pastures new.

Mechanicals:

during my ownership I have completely mechanically rebuilt this, the brakes were fully rebuilt- new discs, pads, shoes, rear wheel cylinders, new hoses all round, new brake lines in kunifer, all 3 handbrake cables replaced with Genuine Vw items, and dot 4 brake fluid has been used.

engine wise it has had a full flush, new oil, new filter, new air filter, new rocker cover gasket,new leads spark plugs and everything has been checked over and cleaned!

so it is fair to say that it is mechanically spot on, unlike others for sale where they have been used and abused this has been really pampered with a fine tooth comb by myself! with all receipts to prove and you can clearly see.

Gearbox and clutch are again both perfect gear changes are nice and smooth, engages as intended.

Bodywork:

For a 22 year old polo coupe I have to say it is in very good condition, the silver paint sparkles , and still looks quite modern yet becoming a future classic especially the better looking coupe.

There is absolutely NO sturctual rot, rust or anything on the chassis. However there is some surface rust forming on the dirvers side wing, it is nothing sturctual as said and has bubbled a bit personally if I was keeping it I would get the wing repainted. Also there is a tiny scrape on the passener side about 10 cm long , the paint hasnt damged and I am pretty sure it can be removed by a paintless dent removal guy. also there are some minor car park dings as expected on a 20 year old car.

Interior:

The interior is completely stock and unmolested. it is real timewarp and really comfy, 3 speed heater is toasty and works as well as all other electrics and lighting as should be.

not much else to report completely stock :)

Wheels/tyres:

completely stock again , stock steels and original VW hubcaps (have spare as well)

Tyres are really good Michelin's.

£550 OVNO - no swaps no trades cash only sale please. I will of course listen to offers once viewed , as said there are others for sale, but I guarentee they wont hve as good as mechanicals and overall conditon of mine

But willing to listen to offers of course try me, viewing can be anytime this week (holiday :) ) I have it on a private drive with lighting- awaiting to be driven away :)

I would say this car is an ideal 1st car or run about, or ideal to just slam and put a set of wheels on- because all you would literally need to is that no other jobs
