Ah I know, would of been good. Got the top mounts today from europarts, ahh.. common coils!! Haha. By the way, I've been looking at bushes to replace all if I'm doing coils and drop links, but there seems to be different sizes and don't know which ones are which on sites. Have you got any ideas on if there's a kit to get all or which ones to go for dude? Heard many people mention cupra bushes etc but even there I'm stuck aha..

I'm not to sure mate: I've never come across a problem with me, if you lower it, the wish bones will be at a different angle and puts them under alot of pressure so alot of people got for powerflex or seat 1's as they are slightly stiffer off the curpa's etc, just get some powerflex 1's, ring Vw for the wishbone bush sizes, the droplinks should just be shortend if you go lower than 50mm - that shall be all..

Any problems ask me

Sweet! Yeh I shall be checking around, just want to replace a few things really to make it better handling and less vibrations too if possible, due to it's diesel at the end of the day haha

1.9tdi! 130pd? Putting in powerflex's will make it stiffer more vibrations, stiffer the ride the better handling on a front wheel drive as these handle like crap standard, end up going off my drivers seat into the passengers in mine when I first got it aha.

Diesel in these are powerful! There potential is mad, so much can be done - you have to get this stage 2 ;)

Haha no, just 100pd :/ with just a standard map though, it'll be 130/135 easy. Need an exhaust baadd though, gone rusty and don't like the sound of it. Sounds like someone has hot food on their plate and trying to blow it cold, exactly like that! HA.. I do want to do a few things but I don't recken I'll do many like stage 2 dude. I'm gonna buy another car next year, this is only to get me by. I used to have a fiesta st before this, but due to my commuting everywhere, fuel wasn't cheap. So I got this to save a lil :p that never works as you cam see haha.

Oh nelly, just bash some power out of this and no doubt you'll want to keep it for a while.. They are brilliant

I'm from aldridge surprised of not seen this! keep your eye out for a immaculate dark blue 6n with 16v bumpers ;)

Hahaa.. We shall see, but doubt it I'll be keeping this for two more years to be honest dude.

vdoubleu - I probably have seen you about. Don't tend to be in much though, that's probably why you haven't seen me :)

A lil update - Coils, drop links and top mounts arrived. So Finally fitted them today and gave it a quick wash. There's a few piks ;) Oh and taken mud flaps off, looks much better. Just need to clean the area's with a bit of T Cut and polish.

Dude the front wheels are touching the inner arch when turning :/ turning circle is wank now. I do believe it can go lower, it's gonna settle anyways :)

Mine was like that, then I went lower now it's better aha, looks smart mate, if you've still got the helpers in takes 1 hard braking sesh to settle, slam on from 70 job done.

Looks sick man!

Left the helpers in because I scrape big time by work. Plus now I can't even turn properly, touches on the inside if the tyres. Sits nicely though :) a very bumpy ride haha.

Thanks sixc!

I was thinking of getting a debadged grille, what are your thoughts on them?

ohh yeah ill have to load a pic of how it sits at the back

I've just bought an exhaust for mine! Fabia VRS standard back box, gunna fut that and decat it

Can't wait to see the exhaust on, yeh my mate had a black fabia vrs, sounded mint when on throttle. I need to save some money for a while and possibly the exhaust done in the next few months to come. Let us know how you get on.

Best back box I've seen on a 9n was a cupra R standard 1. Fits direct onto the polos, looks phat and apparently sounds Jucie aha ;)

Sounds dirty juicy on a diesel probably, ha. I shall check that out, thanks Liam. It'll prob be in the next few months that I'll get one though. Gonna have a look at a powerflow exhaust place in Stafford way too, my mate said he has a contact there. So we shall see ;) just scraped big time whilst hit a nice pot hole. I might need to raise it a lil to get into work on Monday :/ they have dual bumps at the same place! So even going sidewords its still gonna hit somewhere. Hmm..

if it's touching the inner arch then chuck some spacers on there mate, i have 17s on mine with helpers out and no rubbing :)

I'm starting to wear down my exhaust braket just by driving on the roads bud aha, all fun and games tho ay!

Wouldn't it be touching the arch on the other side though? Still need to raise it anyways, due to work. Atm :p until possible new work haha so I could drive my car.

Nice car :) Id love a 1.9 TDI , have you looked at getting a re-map?

Thanks mate, Yeh I will probably get one after exhaust is fitted (not soon though). It'll be an easy 130/135 bhp and better torque.

Sounds good! Should try polishing those TT comps as well ;)
