Getting a refurb so not really bothered too much at the moment, as long as they're clean. The person that I bought them of said they were refurbished etc, its was done by sand paper and spray cans, so not really a good refurb. Defo in need though lol. Thanks

Left the helpers in because I scrape big time by work. Plus now I can't even turn properly, touches on the inside if the tyres. Sits nicely though :) a very bumpy ride haha.

Thanks sixc!

I was thinking of getting a debadged grille, what are your thoughts on them?

Looking good mate, personally I don't like a debadged grille, also you will need to get an insert welded into the bonnet, but each to their own man it could work well. If you've got an end style in sight then go for it!

Debadged grills are gay all about the Rspec Crome grill, standard grill or a vortex grill if you have the money!! ;)

I want this rear bumper but too expensive man. http://www.polo9n.info/Foto/polo-9n-cricke...-70811-4752.jpg

Yeh, I see what you mean now with the badgeless grill. I raised just the front by a cm which isn't much but I shall see how it feels tomorrow on way to work. I had to go side ways and hit major traffic to avoid bumps lol. Defo need spacers though, don't I have to get new bolts too, longer ones?

You will if you don't get system b spacers as you won't be able to unless you go wider.

Check out Fk's :)

How bads the wheel catching the arch?

Lowering mine on saturday just want to know what I'm getting myself in for!

Thanks guys. Well mainly rubs when turning or by going over ridiculous last min pot holes. But it's all good dude, the 10mm raise was defo a good choice. It does feel different, I need to get my wheels aligned hopefully this weekend. By the way, if i do get the aligned, will i then need it again when spacers are in? Shouldn't it be the same, due to it wouldn't be raised or lowered?

Thanks

Should be alright if you put spacers on but every time you higher or lower it you'll need it doing, as it forces the alignment out again you can do it your self with some axle stands string and a few rulers, YouTube it.. I've done it though college but it was a long time ago ah

Done the wheel alignment the weekend, the front tow was out. And now i think my cv joint is going :/ ahh.. I keep hearing a noise on the front wheel, so looks like this is going in the garage again the weekend. No updates at the moment with anything else, apart from it's got a filthy dirty look at the moment lol

No updates as of yet, just a quick shot before the snow ruined everything. Coils all the way down, apart from the front (higherd by 10mm from all the way down). In need of spacers!

Love TT Comps! What size tyres you got on? Look very similar to mine

Thanks! They are 205x40x17's. When fitted on car, they look great, now i keep looking at the rear of the car and they look small. Might just be me though, would be good if they made these wider haha.

Oh youve got slightly wider tyres, I'm running 195x40x17! strange size and cost me a bomb for tyres

are the tt comps et32 7.5J ? I'm currently pondering which tyres to buy. i think I'm going to go for 205/40/17's. they look good on this.

Not sure on the et but yes 7.5J, that's the tyres I have on this and no problem with rubbing all the way down on my coils too! Hope that helps.

Just a small update, I've had a remap this week which is now on the 130 bhp mark with approx 218 lbs/ft. No other engine mods or exhaust done, apart from a full service and new front brakes (standard replacement ones).

Pulls soo much better so definitely a must do, if anyone else already hasn't on this model.

No new pictures :/ Sorry, still in it's unpolished state.
