Probably because I spent so long working in retail and knowing that some poor bastard has to clean that up (and milk is a bastard to clean up if its a massive spill!) along with the fact that it'll mean less money for the workers, all waste comes off the bottom line, meaning more waste, less money for hours and people suffer because of that, believe me I've seen it happen

I'm still all for a kind of national service for working retail, so everyone knows what its like on the other side so working in retail becomes easier

Couldn't agree more. Didn't laugh once and thought of the poor chap running for the mop. Perhaps again because I spent 3 years in retail.

I didn't get it, whether it was to make a mess or trying to claim for compensation or to be an inconvinience to others days, or perhaps making them help you and do a good deed in return for you being a cock.
