MK2 Golf GTI 1.8 8v

Hi,

I have for sale a Mk2 golf GTI 1.8 8v which I have owned since End of october 2012 and bought it to use as a daily but I work 40 mile round trip and it's just not ideal as a daily for me.

MOT - Oct 2013

TAX - End of April 2013

MILEAGE - 180K - Engine still pulls strong, no smoke etc. but could do with a new rocker cover gasket and a clean up.

When I bought the car it literally came with nothing, no history at all apart from the Log book.

Good Points

- Brand New Lower Arms up front

- 2 Brand new tyres on front

- Brand new wheel bearings on front

- Brand new tie rod ends

- Brand new Ball joints

- Brand New Brake Discs

- Brand new Brake Pads

Bad Points

- Tracking needs doing

- I bought brand new (Standard) suspension for this before the car was MOT'd and then when I decided i wasn't going to keep the car I swapped it back over and sold on the brand new suspension to a friend so the current shocks on the car are almost dead, the rears are all over the place but the front isn't too bad.

- Rocker Cover gasket needs replacing

- Engine Bay needs some TLC....leaves, cobwebs etc so needs a serious clean

- Drivers seat bolster as been repaired (very badly - patch has been stitched on!)

- Missing the passenger front arch BUT I have one that will be included in the sale

- Missing the Parcel Shelf

Bodywork

Bodywork is in OK condition for the car's age, the only rust is on the drivers door (3 small patches as per pic) and there is a scratch about 30cm long on the passenger side rear quarter.

The rest of the car is in ok condition, some stone chips on bonnet and some very light scratches around the car (That would come out with a decent detail!)
