Bought this a few weeks ago, paintwork is shocking. Going to get it painted down both sides and add a few little touches to it.

First i tried lowering it with these things. (pile of shit springs to mind) they don't even work.

Cheers mate. I had thought about red but it would then turn into a dear do to get all the door apertures done and stuff so probably just stick with silver to keep the cost down. Been trying to find a cheap vary front splitter but their all £150.

Yeah you cant go wrong with Silver,like you say its less hassle :) I think you'll struggle finding a 2nd hand GV splitter,as even 2nd hand ones go for the same price as a new one! I bought mine from the US and it arrived within one week :)

Cheers mate. Ye i've just found one in a america, it poly urethane so shouldn't snap over speed bumps and its only £100 ha. Wheels were fitted today, it looks shit because its so high and theres primer down both sides ready for paint. Ill see if i can get a pic, its a bit dark though. I should have the spoiler with me next week, just going to bond it on and leave it black for the time being until its re=sprayed.

Always some love for an mx5 Like the wheels, that spoiler should come as standard hehe. Best spoiler indeed! Can't wait to see the progress with this, keep it up.

I know ha, especially now its covered in primer. I'm not going the whole hog and painting the full car now either I'm just painting wing door and rear quarter on both side. I don't want to put too much money into it.

Cheers mate, i think its the best spoiler as well, completely changes the rear of an mx5 IMO. Should be fun in the summer.

Mines Polyurethane and its took a beating and its still in one piece :) So no worries there!

Got everything fitted today looks sweet IMO. Just ordered one of these 2.

Got a shit picture of it here but with everything fitted. Just paint required now.

had a jap import a year or two ago and loved it. so much fun.

always wanted to put my foot down in it.... and i could, short box and just the right amount of power to be forgiving when you get it wrong.

then M45'ed it (163.2bhp)

Ye got the GV for £90 posted which i didn't think was bad.

Right, stuck me spoiler on about 5 o clock, just been out and checked it and it dropped and got tiger seal EVERYWHERE. gutted. Shitty masking tape didn't hold. On the plus side, just ordered some TSI's and booked in for both sided painting next friday.

Just painted them in the dark outside ha. Got sum right linford's on them. Going to paint shop in morning and wont have it back until Tuesday.
