Before my current Mk2 Breadvan Project, these were my previous three....

1st Polo Breadvan I had was in alpine white, this is the only photo I had with it on the red BBS RA's, now sold to a mate :-)

The 2nd Polo Breadvan I got had only 50k on the clock and 1 previous owner, but I thought it was a rally car and was soon written off

- And will be put up in Cars Breaking section soon, if anybody is in need of any parts?? (Both doors and OSF wing already gone)

The 3rd Breadvan I had, was an F Reg Ranger in grey, really nice but needed a bit of bodywork doing to it to sort out the rust, also now sold to a mate :-)

Right now here's the start of my 4th Mk2 Breadvan Project!

Model: 1986 Polo CL Breadvan

Engine: 1043cc GL

Suspension: Standard/Factory

Brakes: VW1 brakes

Wheels and Tyres: 13” steels with 145/80 R13 Tyres

Exterior styling: Marine Blue, J2

Interior styling: Standard/Factory

Sound System: Retro radio, with only the front speaker :-)

I picked this car up on Ebay one day with it apparently having a Cat C insurance claim on it, but I have recently found out that the dvla has nothing on the records of this, so all good :-)

The car has only done 38k when I got it and was a clean base to start with, with only a few surface rust patches around the car and a small rust hole by the front bottom corner of the windscreen, which ill get sorted as soon as possible.

Now below is a picture of how Franky Longbottom is like now after I had got him through the MOT :-)

Thanks :-) The car doesnt look that bad from the outside, with only the osf wheel being bent inwards (Making it look like its got negative camber) and i found that the suspension strut was bent, which caused the TCA, Anti-roll bar and steering arm to be bent aswell. But i think the chassis might also be bent, because a while back i tried to fit new parts and the TCA was out by about 1cm, when trying to fit it to the bottom of the strut. Might be able to fix it with a jig, but I'm not too sure.

All of this, just from hitting a kerb at about 10 to 15mph lol not good!

H&R 60/40 Kit arrived today :-) now i am just waiting to order in a full polybush kit from Polo Performance parts, so i can fit them all at the same time!

Nice h&R kit mate buying stuff like that is worrying me :/ your polo is going to be good competition for me to pull my finger out haha

Cheers mate :-) haha i may be a bit broke after this month though! And yeah you definitely need to get that GT Lump in asap, it should be good when its done :-)

The Breadvan is going to be taken to my dads mate at the end of the week, to sort out the rust hole by the windscreen and the rust around the NSR window!
