I have it but it has a flat bottom from scraping. no holes but it has definitely contacted the floor a good amount. I'm not sure about fitting a mk2f but i assume it is the same. I can't sort this out in any kind of hurry though because i dont really have anything to lift it high enough to get under at the moment... when do you need it by?

na its fine bud as its got flatten lol I'm after a decent one lol

the only thing wrong with it is that the cambelt went and bent a valve. in a true bodging effort i tried hammering the valve straight again with the pistons but didn't think too much about it and I'm sure most of them are now bent. so everything is up for grabs but the engine block and head probably isnt worth taking. i will be keeping some bits for my new one but let me know what you are after and i can get pics etc.

would let it go complete for someone looking to do an engine conversion but my insurance wouldnt allow it for me.

here is the advert from when i bought it

Halfs* sorry

I'm after the two pieces of side trim just before the rear arches posted. Cheers

It's not the two pieces of trim with the polo logo s but the two pieces after it, the ones that go up the arch about 12 inches long. Need both sides, cheers

the two on the back side? they are like wood screws with a bolt head on and a washer built in?

the ones that look like boomerangs? one is snapped and the other is sold. sorry

whats the front drivers side wing like and interior and postage on wing to kent, kings lynn or derby?

  • Author

the wing has had the arch rolled. didnt heat it beforehand so a lot of paint has flaked off but wasn't long ago so probably just some light surface rust. other than that its all good...

as far as interior, do you just want seats or are you after door cards and carpet etc? none of it is in the best condition with a fag bur or two and the drivers bolster in pretty wasted although not uncomfortable. below is the interior i am selling (its from my other car as i will be nicking the interior from the blue one)

How much for the drivers side banana trim? if its in good nick?

Cheers

Alright no worries mate. Let me know if you do :)

still want these? they have been sat in the back o my car for ages now...

Hello mate, i need part of the drivers door locking mechanism. My lock works fine but I haven't got all the bits to make the door pin work.

If you can sell me that mechanism for a reasonable price id really appreciate it.

Cheers

Its yours for a couple of quid and then postage. do you know which bits you need? i could just whack some bits in the post but i wouldn't want to miss anything... i haven't looked at the mechanism really so forgive me if its just the one bit

the screws you can see, to hold both halfs together, how much posted mate?

Thats brilliant mate, there is really one bit I need. Basically its the nylon connector which sits on a leaver coming out of the lock, the rod from the door pin clicks into the nylon connector. Thus allowing you to operate the lock. Silly little bit but really annoying not to have.

Should fit in an envelope. If you let me know your paypal, ill pm you my address.

Cheers

JC

How much for the head delivered? Not bothered about a few bent valves
