Hi all!

I've got myself a polo gti for a while now with the number 1 seats in

found some genuine polo gti heated seats for sale, bought them but unsure how i get the heated seats working

is the wiring already there from factory as cant see why it would not be, if it is where is it, if not what do i need to do

Well, i was in the same situation as you.

You can either make your own wiring loom up or buy one. I bought one from Kufatec ( http://www.kufatec.nl/shop/en/Volkswagen/P...ess-VW-Polo-6N2 ), in my opinion, worth the money as by the time you bought all the wire theres only £20 in it.

From that you have to route the cables, i did it along the door sills, under the plastic, then under the carpet through the hole, and over the centre console to the other side.

Youll need an earth point - i used the bolt holding the dash on, right next to the bonnet catch

Main live feed - i got this from the main feed from the battery ( youll need a spade connector ) 15 amp fuse

Switched live - Got this from the ignition, yellow black wire ( see pic ) Iv used a 1 amp fuse and its ok

Illumination - I got this from the headlight switch (dont ask me which wire) but this could be piggy backed off of the heated rear window switch

Switched live - with blue fused wire attached

Is that loom you stated for both seats and i was going to buy this loom http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-Bora-Pas...=item53ea9fbc2e

but as you can see its near on twice the price.

do the company you stated ship to UK.

Yes, i got mine from kufatec, takes a week or so but they do ship. And yes its for both seats, just add the two switches and two seats.

The kufatec one is only 1 colour, but there is writing on them, which you will have to translate, or use a multimeter with a circuit diagram, below [=
