Wanting to buy a good gravity fed gun for base coat and clear coats . There's that many out there need someone to give me advice . What to look for in a good gun . Devilbiss is what I've been told but what model and size setup ??

I'm a prepper and painter by trade and I have 2 personal guns.

Devilbiss GTI Pro Base: standard set up with a 1.2mm tip. Cost me £220

Sata 4000b 'Heart and Soul' limited edition clear coat: standard set up with a 1.2mm tip, built in digital pressure gauge. I got the last one in the country. Cost me £600.

I use them on all my jobs and love them, had some seriously good finishes.

It all depends on your budget tbh, you could spend £30 on a Clarke one up to £1000 for a rare limited edition Sata. Just depends what you want and what it's going to be used for.

All depends on you your experience and ability with using a spray gun and also your budget

I use satas in my opinion there are the best gun perfectly balanced and super fine Atomizstion I have a nr2000 with 1.3 tip for base

And a 3000 rp 1.3 for clear

Don't get me wrong Devilbiss gti's are a great gun but I just rather Satas

If your just starting out I would recommend the devilbiss staring line guns you can get one for £70 quid

And a iwata ws supernova for waterbased paints

Also a devilbiss gti 1.4 again for solvent base coats

I wouldn't change I love them all
