Alright chaps,

I've been into the VW scene for years now, and i've been on and off this forum too for a long time.

I've always had at least one polo in the yard, either as a daily, or a project (i've still got the first polo i got when i was 15)

Over the years, as I've got into other Dubz, Golfs, Raddo's etc.. I've always struggled to find or get into another forum based on those models.

I've just bought an old Audi 80 Cabrio and finding a forum for enthusiasts of that car, that has reguler visitors, is proving difficult. You can find some, but sure enough when i find a topic about an Audi 80, the last post was back in 2008 or something.

This thread isn't so much a "Where will i find an Audi forum?" more, just a compliment to the people that run it. As i still find myself coming back here a few times a week even though the polo's in my life seem to be getting more and more distant.

What say you? anyone else who frequents this site, frequent anywhere else?

No sure if I've made a point. But that's all i have to say...

Never met the people who run this forum even though i must be one of the longest running users... but who ever they are.

Well done, and Thanks! :)

Always room for a Polo, my current fleet is my Corrado (the-corrado.net) Mk2 Golf (http://vwgolfmk2.co.uk) and my Mk2 Polo.

A Polo was my first car 8yrs ago and i think i have only not had a Polo for a few months at a time. They are just to cheap not to have one!

Exactly!

I've now got:

a 6n2 GTI

a Corrado 16v

a mk2 polo bread van with a 1.4 16v engine with bike cards

A mk1 Caddy pic up

And a Audi Cabriolet.

I only just got the Audi and the GTI is my daily, So straight away my mrs goes " so your selling the GTI now right"

OF COURSE NOT! I've not even touched on what i want to do with that and I've done a fair bit!!

Like you say, to cheap not to keep running it! and it means i have another car to run while I'm working on the other. (i just have the Audi and GTI on the road. The corrado is a project and the mk2 is more of a summer play thing)

Its the only reason i have two polos tbh

What is bud, the Forum?

Clubpolo is most certainly the best forum i have been on/seen.

A lot more active members, everyone is friendly enough more or less and there is a wealth of knowledge floating about.

The only other forum i have seen so far that even comes anywhere close to Clubpolo is the MKIV.net forum which my friend uses for his golf.

Is that just a mk4 golf one then?

I agree though mate! dont get me wrong, I've seen this place change a fair bit over the years. I feel like people get shut down to quickly now for asking a "stupid question".. When really, i dont think it matters if a newbie comes on and goes, "hey guys, will these 15inch bbs RXs fit my mk4 polo". We are all here to learn and chat. Some know more then others. But I'm getting off my point.

MY POINT BEING (i guess) is that if you want a question answered... you will get it answered here! :)

I for one am an expert! ;)

Yeah mostly MK4 Golfs you do tend to see a lot of Bora's and MK5/6/R32's on there as well.

I've not owned a polo for nearly 3 years now but i still lurk!

UK-mkivs.net is the other forum I use (at least I still own a golf!)

clubpolo only as i don't really have any interest in german cars...

Why then? ....May i ask...

I just paid for club membership just because of the excellent replies I got to several of my posts.I have posted on another Polo forum and I swear you can almost see the tumbleweeds

Because most of the polo's i like aren't actually german.

I'm just not really interested in larger VW's (with few exceptions).
