Featured Replies

As title. tax is due on the derby at the end of the month. I heard something about this being possible. the stumbling block is proof of insurance I guess. Anyone have any idea if its possible?

I think you need your road tax reminder form. I can't remember the code of the document but I'm pretty sure that's what you need.

You dont need the tax reminder form, i didnt get one but went online and did it. think it just asks for your drive licence number and the new style (A4) MOT number.

When did the new style MOT certificate come in? My car was MOT'ed in November, so have I got an old style one then? Just be handy if I could buy online, as my tax is due on the 30th which is BVF, making it awkward to get tax as I also don't get paid 'til the 30th.

Karl.

The new style MOT's are on an A4 sheet rather than the smaller old ones. Thats as much as i know!

Doesn't say owt on my envelope. Dont be so patronising!

Thanks for the link though. At The mo, the website is undergoing maintenance.

Karl I think it was more of a gradual change than a fixed date. Both my GT and the derb have the new style MOT.

Once you've bought tax online can you drive your car whilst waiting for the disc to arrive?

Tax Disc arrived within 3 days for me, so just make sure you don't leave it to the last minute.
