The accuspark module is as basic as they get, just an adjustable soft cut rev limiter. It pops on a mates mini, but thats a totally different engine, with a different fuelling set-up, so they can't really be compared.

Mini's pop well easy, my mate just has to floor it and then cut his ignition via key to give it a huge bang.

accuspark is an electronic ignition replacement for points ignition systems.

it is not a rev limiter...

They also make rev limiters mate

As well as other ignition components

Only problem is got rolly windows, would have to qucikly unroll them or you would smash your nose on the window trying to make your car sound cool

I smashed the corner of my eye on the corner of the window . Ouch

Next time check its all the way down ..

All most knocked me sparko lol

Sorry to bring this up again but its choice time!

there's one going on the bay with launch control for £50 but think it will go for about £80, obvs cheaper than new but is it worth the saving or should i just get an accuspark one?

Sam

I paid about £85 for an Omex clubman one with launch brand new, cant remember where.

i have no experience of the accuspark one, so cant say if youll get pops and bangs or what. judging by the quality of their electronic ignition conversions it could be shit lol.

oh just noticed the accurately sparking one is soft cut, my megajolt set on softcut didnt really pop, and you could drive straight through the limiter tbh lol ebcause it just retarded the timing to 0 degrees.

one i have now retards to 0 100rpm before the hard limit then just cuts spark and goes bang bang pop flames.

omex one you can set hard or soft, my car usesd to bounce to fuck on it like it had a high frequency of cutting and restarting the spark process
