I bought my 6n2 in August 2012 as a budget daily....

....and hadn't really planned any mods but after deciding to dress as Starsky & Hutch (with my mate) for my 40th birthday fancy dress party things got out of hand:

Now I find myself wondering about chrome slotmags No longer a car for the shy it's getting alot of attention and even though the party is over the stripes are staying

I think if it was low, had the mags on and a few other little details it would be amazing! Would grab my attention at a show for sure

That's the point really. It was just done for the party but I can't be arsed to take it off (and I secretly like it). It's very much tongue in cheek.

It's fun, aint it?! I did it when the first film was out, 2004 i think. It was literally a traffic stopper!

People loved it, all ages pointing and smiling, even the old bill liked it.

Cool! Ha ha, that image came up whilst I was searching for templates for the stripes in Google (I didn't find any!). I think the seed was first set years ago when a local dubber did this to their runaround....

I saw it on the motorway one day and it made me giggle.

My photo was taken three years earlier, but I'd already seen a MK2F done the year before.

And hundreds had done it 30 years ago - I remember seeing a Morris Marina Coupe done on my walk to school in around 1980..
