Opinions on this deal..?

Featured Replies

Hi club polo.

Tomorrow I'm looking at going to pick up a few parts for the old polo, these consist of a full set of mk2f polo ta technix coilovers, a set of Pirelli p slots with good tyres and a rear gearbox poly mount.

The coilovers have never been drove on and are brand new and still have 6 month manufacturers warranty on them.

We've agreed at a price of £280, what are people's opinions on the price and am I getting a decent deal? The P Slots are also previously painted.

Thanks for reading and opinions highly appreciated

Well TA's usually cost around £150-180ish new, a poly mount I'm unsure and p slots aren't worth a great deal but if the tyres a good and the wheels aren't in shit condition it's not bad. Depends what the mounts worth really

£450 worth of coilovers and you question this deal, or are you trying to rub someones nose in it? Lol

Coilovers are only £150 for a mk2f?! First I knew, thought they were £450 new...?

Its a bargain mate tbh, coilovers for mk2fs are £400+ cheapest I've seen em, and p slots range in price plus these ones have been painted id take em while you can thats my opinion :-D

I read it as the wrong car... Fail.

Bargain then, you didn't really needs to ask if you knew they were worth £450

I was aware they are £450 new but these aren't boxed etc so are obviously going to drop in value a bit but yeah looks like il be getting them tomorrow wooooo :D

What colour are the p sluts? Planning to go low low or speed bump friendly low?

Speed bump friendly low, the p slots are on rather large tyres so I can't go stupid low without scrubbing. When I can afford ats classics il go stupid low but after this the gt engine will be going in then either ats classics, minilites or anything 13".

I'd consider saving £170 for not having a box that you'd only throw away a no brainier really.
