Bought my car in January.

Then it snowed

But finally when the sun came out managed to get a few bits done.

To get started:

Lower Centre Honeycomb Grill

Carbon Fibre Wrap On The Door Pillars

GTI Tax Disc Holder

K&N Panel Filter

And of course

Next up was the headunit

Few weeks later deleted my rear wiper with a gecleant plug, and added my local dub club sticker

When the weather brightens up again I will add some more pics.

Have since added:

Honeycomb fog light grills

Stubby aerial

Team Heko wind deflectors

Cupra splitter is waiting patiently to be fitted

Then its about time to think about some new alloys and getting it a little closer to the ground

I've got the app radio aswell and was considering chopping the back of the centre console and trying to get it flush.

what did you do with yours and do you find much of the head unit sticking out ?

Radio is a nightmare to fit due to the amount of cables.

The surround fits flush with the dash without chopping the car up (I did leave the rubber knob off the back)

With a bit of fiddling and some rude words it does all fit.

Didn't realise till I got it out the box but the unit itself won't sit flush with the dash whatever you do.

Just the design of the unit.

Also be aware that the power in the loom is constant on both so you have to wire up the intermittent power to the back of the cigarette lighter.

And for the handbrake cable just stick it into the ground cable at the back of the headunit, this will bypass it so you can use sat nav even with the handbrake off.

Fair play I had the same problems i ended up taking the centre console out for better access, luckily previous owner wired in an acc cable and like your self

bloody knuckles and alot of swearing later it was done, big improvement in sound for door speakers and really useful for iphone.

Update:

Coilovers ordered and hopefully going to be fitted at the weekend

Still need to fit my splitter on the front sometime this week

Decisions to be made.

1. How low to go?

2. Do I colour code the side skirts and lower bumpers and black out the centre of the front bumper Golf style

Had an active couple of days

Firstly got the splitter fitted, then the coilies.

Definitely sitting much nicer now.

Would love some feedback on what people think of it.

Not Sure on the final drop, left it down to my mechanic (yes I whimped out) to what he thought was best, seems to clear most speed bumps but after finally fitting my splitter its that which is scraping on the driveway See you on Sunday

Ended up with the JOM bluelines from Venom Motorsport, ordered the FK's but there is a wait on them till end of may and with Springfest this weekend I just couldn't wait. The ride is definitely firmer and I'm constantly dodging potholes because of the bad condition of the roads in my area, Do get a nice responsive feel to the car though :-D

The honeycombs are all off fleabay and are a perfect fit well worth the money

Had a great day last Sunday up at Santa pod on the Club Polo Stand

Was good to see some of the cars in the flesh and to put some faces to users.

Took a couple of pictures and thought I would share them with you.

Also managed a 16.4 on the strip which I was happy enough with for my first time :-)

Ok so post has been quiet for a while as I have been low on money and haven't had anything new done to the car but hopefully going to get some stuff done soon.

Sadly I no longer have the splitter on the front of the car as I firstly had a fight with a speed bump and then secondly yesterday I hit some debris on the M25 which knocked the splitter down and then I dragged it halfway round the motorway :(
