Polo Mk3 lights (86C facelift)

Featured Replies

Right sold my mk3 polo and not planning another mk3 again soon, so clearing out a few bits..... this will just be the start, been hoarding for over 7 years and its time to cut the collection, this is only the lighting collection!!!!

All prices plus P & P, located in Reigate surrey, 5 minutes from J8 M25

So first up:

Clear indicators, after market ones depo only used for a few months and even have original box for them

Price £15

Next up, standard amber indicators, fairly good condition, but used for many years. Complete with bulb holders.

Price £10

Next, headlights, a pair fairly good condition, left frame has a small minor crack, but doesn't effect set up or fitment.

Close ups, (forget which is which from this picture, but think its left then right)

Price £25 for the pair of £15 each

Next up is a late spec tinted taillight. near side with the reversing light. Few minor marks, but bit of wet sanding and a polish should see them alright. Can't even see them in the pic!!! they are on the top light section

Price £15

Next up a set of all red rears. They look light an English and European pair, meaning no reverse light, which have had the indicators tinted red. Looks a good job on these with a couple of minor scratches and couple of blobs of overspray in grey/white colour which will come off (just haven't had the time, planned to give them a proper machine polish to bring them back up)

Price £45

Lastly is a foglight.... not sure which side tbh, someone might be able to tell me, but its only one!!!! I do have a pair somewhere, but haven't dug them both out, they will be added later!!!

Few marks on the lens from usage and being so low to the road, but lens is not broken. However, the bracket does have a minor crack in it.

and crack

Now for price not sure. Pairs go for between £80 and £150, so I am gonna say £40.

I will add the pair of foglights I have soon, but one of them has a minor bit of damage to the lens, hence the purchase of the single one above, but I got the wrong side!!!

That's a right one, should have RE after the part number on the edge of the main body ;)

Found this whilst going through my bits. Not sure anyone would want it. So rather than chuck it though I would offer it here

So its free, if you want it posting, that's not a problem, just pay for that.

let me know if you fine the pair your only up the road from a mate :D

The fog lamp, is it for the right looking at the car?

  • Author

Will be looking for the pair of fogs over the weekend, but already have interest, so not sure how long they will hang around.

I believe its for the right hand side as you sit in the car, so drivers side. Its marked with RE, as phil correctly worked out above. Best way to check if your looking to make a set, is to check yours has LI on as noted above

Would you take 30 for that right fog?

the bulb has melted the actual bulb holder part of mine and was found hanging from the car  So kinda need a new one.

Minor, minor crack on lens at top, when cleaning didn't let any water in, and will probably be hidden by bumper (can't confirm, as never fitted!!!)
