sick of snapping cables now so I've got hold of a clutch and it hasnt come with an alignment key :( does anyone have one that I could either buy or have or use or whatever? it's a 1991 1L polo saloon (mk2f). thanks!

You shouldn't need a key.

The last few I've done, I've done by eye without issue . If you're really struggling, put some small spots of superglue on the friction plate and attach it to the cover plate. When the clutch is engaged it'll break the glue.

aaah I've never done a clutch, is it fairly easy to just align by eye because thats how I've adjusted pretty much everything else on any car haha. I could give it a blast like, cant see it being too hard if you can do it by eye. cheers for the reply man :)
