Here we have my ridiculous impulse purchase LT35. I sort of needed a van, so a van was purchased.

At a fair price of 450 without tax or test i then took my skills of working on oversized diesel shitheaps and put them into practice. So far I've done sump gasket, both handbrake cables and a service. Just waiting for my bits for my merc to come and hopefully get it back on the road, enabling me to get the van MOT'd. Its big ugly and i cant quite remember why i bought it!

I'm looking at getting back onto crossers and this was cheap and local enough. Its got a double bed and a sink, proper hippy passion wagon. Recent cambelt, its like driving a bus though. Nice and warm in the cab as your sat right above the engine. All i need to do with it now is get it tested, my bankcards started being fuckwitted though and i cant pay my mate to mot it. Thinking about getting the rattlers out but i think itd make it a tad too distinctive tbh.

I've had a look and they bought MAN in 2011. I thought i was out of the loop then! my company and MAN use the same training facilities.

I love LT's. Not many people bother with them, which is a shame, as they have great potential. This is what you want. Modified 4x4 allrad/ syncro version:

And yes, these were the product of a joint venture with MAN, think they went up to 5 tonne with a VW badge, then gained MAN branding past that. Then in the mid-90's VW licenced the Sprinter platform for their big van, and as far as I know, still use the last-shape Sprinter as a basis for the Crafter.
