hello all, as per title a friend wants to buy my car and I'm not too sure on its value.

details are ;

R reg polo 6N. 1.0 120K, FSH, clutch 5K ago, cambelt and waterpump 3K ago, complete bottom arms (bushes ball joints etc) 8K ago, TA coilies, mini G60s with REALLY good budget tyres on. uhm 7 months MOT 1 month tax. been sprayed matt red. umm cant think of anything else

I'd say about 800 but 6ns can go mad on ebay, plenty of young drivers want 1.0 engines for insurance!

No disrespect meant at all but 6ns are readily available for £3-500 with less miles

Although its worth what ever any one wants the pay out it up for £800. Although I'm sure you may be lowering the price at some stage. GLWS if you are selling it

Lots of sub £500 6N's on ebay. Might as well sell it without the G60's and find a numpty willing to pay £150-£200 for them.

£350-400 max. there's plenty of better examples out there in the same price range.

just got my 6n 1.4 few niggled few new bits paid 300 i still think it was a tad overpriced on a r plate flash red

£200, Looks ropey, needs tax, is only a 1.0L.

Lots of people being polite in here. 6n's are ten a penny atm, much better ones in my local scrappy, just got a gearbox from one such example.

Wouldn't reach £100 in my local auction, and knowing i couldn't get £300 for it any time soon i doubt i'd put too much effort into the prep. Not that you can with matt paint.

The modifications make it hard to sell, and only a year's MoT gives people any confidence when it's a 15yo 1.0 with 125k under it's belt.

Id say no more than £300, as has been said the paintwork, age and mileage mean not many people would be intrested
