Hi does anyone know what size 'exactly' the brake caliper mounting bolts are on a 2000 (x reg) 6n2 polo as i changed a wheel bearing the other week and struggled to undo the mounting bolts as the allen key head rounded off. Just about got it undone with a pair of grips. Was just gone change them for high grade normal bolts not allen key head ones. They are £30 on ebay! wtf!

The carrier to hub bolt

The caliper to carrier bolt

8E0615141 bolt, hex. hd. with shoulder, self-locking M8X22-MK VW list price 0.78 €uros ea

Its the two bolts you undo to get the caliper off when you change to brake pads?

That would be the caliper to carrier bolts then, the other ones are the ones that bolt the carrier onto the stub axle
