My beloved mk2 polo breadvan - insurance write off

Featured Replies

After 4 years of faithful service, I'm having to sell my beloved polo for breaking :-( . Gutted doesn't cover it!

I had an accident last tuesday and my insurance company has declared a total loss :( I'd rather see someone use the parts than see her scrapped though!

Good Points

*Replacement engine head in 2010

*Replacement battery in 2011

*Passed MOT in August so all parts present and correct - ran really well and started easily before the crash

*Engine starts and car will move - obviously cannot be driven anywhere but could be loaded onto a truck.

Bad Points

*Front nearside corner smashed in - point of impact

*Front offside wing mirror held on by tape

*Needed the fan belt replacing before the crash

Car has now been declared SORN and so has no tax - would need to be stored off road. I will post some pictures later - at the moment everything is covered in snow.

I am looking for someone to take the whole lot. It would have to be a very good offer for just key parts as I don't have the time to break then scrap the rest.

PM me with any offers. I'm gutted to see her go so the sooner the better really!

Ideally looking for something around £200.
