Pull the carpet back under the glovebox thers a wire route, bit awkward to get to tho!

There should be a grommet in the firewall with other wires going through it, just push it through there, can be a bit tight but if needed just widen it a bit really carefully with something sharp

i removed the carpet and there was some sort of grommet there, i stapped it withh a screwdriver, but couldn't see it in the engine bay? i shall be trying this again in a bit!

Or you could do.what the idiot who had my car last and drill a new hole. Don't sound too bad, intill you.see the location ubuve the chassis leg, so water gets in, and also the first attempt at a hole that just didn't go all the way through . Fair to say he was a penis
