Bought this engine off Gaz a few years ago when it had covered approximately 70k miles in his mk2 Polo Classic. Covered about 10k in my mk1 Golf since then, totally trouble free. No leaks, no water or oil usage, no funny noises. Best engine I've had and a decision I'll probably come to regret but I'm converting my mk1 Golf to a big block now. The ports for the exhaust heated inlet manifold have been plugged up with aluminium dowels so a late type inlet can be fitted without exhaust leakage. The engine will include everything you see attached in the pics except for the Golf engine mount.

After £80 or nearest offer, collected from Stockport.
