Hey, I have a 1991 polo gt , in recent week the temp gauge and also the fuel gauge have decided to become a intermittent working, sometime they will work from start or a little while after, or ten not for half a day

If I give a tap on the dash it works but doesn't go to full temperature as I lnow it's fully hot

Is annoying any help is much appreciated

As it's affecting both gauges it's probably the voltage stabiliser in the speedo pod, either a bad/loose connection
