As above really. Found mine had a crack in it this morning Ideally after an etched, OEM screen to keep things original. Un-tinted too please. Need this ASAP as I have the screen out whilst I'm spraying the car, but it will need to go back in hopefully end of next week. Preferably in Oxfordshire or surrounding counties, but willing to travel for the right part.

there is a mk2f in bloxham scrappy at the mo. mostly complete to and i think the screen was still in one piece aswell

I checked with VW a couple of months ago and they available at £80.

Oldboi, thanks for that. I know they are available but I'm trying to spend as little as possible. But it's good to know I can get an oem one if needed. I was quoted 80 for a non-oem (same manufacturer but not etched) by the guy who took it out, so I'd go oem if I can. Cheers

shame, sure it was still complete on friday went i went over there. They were in charitable mood too, had a pair of mx5 strut braces and some other mx5 bits for £20! I worked out it was around £300 worth of stuff had i bought it new! Might be worth trying rac. I had a screen fitted a few years back for a very good price (around £80 from memory)

Dursley scrapyard has one if it helps. They will probably want £20-£30 for it.

I know I can get a screen for 80 bob, just trying not to. The smiths do seen to be cheaper ATM. I got a 205 rear plastic trim today for £5, the bit that covers the bottom of the hatch. A year ago they would have been £20, no problem. They got really expensive for a while
