so would that work then with the fli speakers and amp?

12 is too big, I'm not liking the 10" cos i dont want to loose boot space really but will bite my tongue over it

and for argument sake, if i had the fronts and sub running off the amp, i could quite happily run the rears off the headunit with the bass turned low?

yes but id get a better set, or do some reviews on the fli's, fair enough just trying to help, no you want as clean signal as you can and that wouldnt sound nice

dont get me wrong chap I'm really grateful, i was just using those products as examples of what i had in my head

reccomend away anything better

Vibe and jbl gto components sound good for the price don't buy vibe slick though get like the se-k5 or se-k6

the jbl setup will be perfect the comps are quite good

no to the fli :)

u wreckon i should try for that?

why are the tweeters enormous compared to others iv seen?

yep go for it, there 25mm i think, but they just look like there fitted into an adapter plate for a certain car

its no good, they're collection only

other side of london and i live in birmingham, just too far :(

oh yeah, or maybe you just replace the dash speakers or is it only a single speaker in yours

my mates got my old car with some jbl gto 3.5" in his dash hes selling them as were making custom doors

just run them off an amp front only then run a sub job done, there still very loud and clear for what they are once setup and i had over 140db of bass and could still hear them very well

mine doesnt have any at the front, nor places to fit them, fitting was going to be my next bridge to cross once buyng them :p

btw whats wrong with the vibe slicks?

vibe slicks no they sound shocking even off an amp, mutant no!

the jbls in brum are missing 2 screw mounts on each speaker

id get the GT6-5C

juice! never!

ok, once i get the refund money for the 13cm and the 4x6 pyles il get those gt6's

what amp n sub would go with those nicely?

ok, I've got a vibe a3 thats a 4 channel so that can run front and sub perfectly

as for the sub theres loads out there but jbl gt5 is highly recommended

the alpine comps might sell for quite abit not sure but id sooner get the jbl gt6 comps

jbl better? only mentioned the alpines as they have a higher rms but if the jbl's are better il stick with them, how much you asking for the amp?

for the price yes, id want £50 and ill fit and set it up

sounds good, just looking for a suitable sub now, needs to be small and discreet for the boot :p

how you thinking of hooking it all up? as i dont have anywhere for the front speakers or tweeters as yet and certainly no real idea of where to shove an amp

i had an idea of getting enclosures for the front and tucking them just behind the centre console mounted on the almost verticle part of the body just above the foot area

with the speaker set up mentioned, what output have i got from the amp for a sub anyway? cos if my sketchy knowledge is correct i need a sub with a lower wattage than the amp as its better to have more power from the amp than needed?
