Where can I get...

Featured Replies

Hey all, just a few requests as to where I can obtain a few parts

First off is a set of rubbers for the pedals, as seen pictured

I do have a set that was recently purchased but they are for beetle pedals. Could I just slit the back of them and make them fit or is it easier to get a new set, the beetle ones look better though, have swirls in and a vw badge.

Secondly, I'm sure these are from a mk3 Golf/Jetta

But I would like to get one of these, all I keep finding is the GTi ones are they're just annoyong to look at now.

They should still be available at TPS.

Ebay for pedal rubbers, they are very generic between Volkswagen and Audi's of the 1980s so Polos, Golfs, 80s, 100s etc. Does the badge have to have the pins on the back? I got a flat style one from a MK2 Golf.

Hey Matt, do any of them rubbers fit? I,e T5 mk1 Golf ect. Cheers for helping me figure out the easiest thing ever aha. And yeah has to have the clips on the back as I'll be using it for the front grille. Would prefer a second hand one too, just so its cheaper aha

I just looked on the bay and found many examples of everything you need in seconds. New and used.

If you're unsure of an item's size, there is a great facility on there where you can message the seller and ask them fore measurements.

I'd give links for the correct ones, but that'd be too easy.. :smirk:

I've found some on there for mine in bright red :puke:

What internet you using, seconds to find what you need.. TECHNOLOGY! Haha, I could message the seller but thought it would be tons easier to ask people who have the same car as me and have some on theirs ;)

Why do you persist to give me a challenge Mikey!

Get them!!! They will one day come into fashion haha

Like those shoes?

^^ Lol

I don't do fashion anymore, wild goose chase - yeah they probably will get their time, but before long they'll be back out of fashion again.

Si - these shoes are the height of fashion. That's why theu were a fiver hahahha

Mikey - what is the definition of fashion? Something that a group of people decide everybody should like and spend a silly amount of money for it to change a few weeks later

The definition of fashion is, largely, the main purpose of it - to give goods/services a shelf life in order to regulate business. Basically, you design something to be new and desirable, and give it a time to become obsolete. As it made the previous fad obsolete. You keep buying new stuff and throwing away old stuff with nothing wrong with it. Business blooms.

Everything is now designed to be replaced at a set time. Fashion + consumerism = big business.

Sorry, vee-dub, I couldn't resist :-)
